Director of Talent and Organizational Development (Education)
The Director of Talent and Organizational Development is a strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and leadership development. This role will drive the design and execution of talent management programs and training. Develop and execute training and education for our neighbors and community partners.
· Collaborate on organizational development strategies and change management initiatives to support the Food Depository's goals and objectives.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
· Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities.
· Design and deliver programs and initiatives that support employee development, talent management, and succession planning.
· Provide leadership coaching and development to senior leaders and managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive employee engagement.
· Collaborate with the Community Impact team to develop and implement external training for neighbors and partners.
· Lead cultural transformation initiatives and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Develop and execute change management strategies to support organizational change initiatives, including communication plans, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
· Conduct organizational assessments and diagnose organizational issues to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
· Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure that organizational development initiatives are integrated with other HR programs and processes.
· Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in organizational development, training, talent management, or a related field.
· Extensive expertise in instructional design, with a background in creating educational programs tailored to various learning styles and environments.
· Experience with developing interactive e-learning modules that leverage cutting-edge technology and multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement and retention
· Proven track record of leading and executing training and organizational development initiatives.
· Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
· Strong understanding of best practices in change management.
