The ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team Clinician is responsible for providing high quality care in the community/outpatient settings. The ACT Team Clinician is expected to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary Clinical Team. The ACT Team Clinician is responsible for utilizing professional skills in assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and the documentation of services. The ACT Team Clinician is primarily responsible for the development, organization, scheduling and provision of individual, family, marital, and group therapies to ACT team consumers. All services provided are to promote client independence and empower clients to manage their symptoms to insure an acceptable level of daily functioning.
