*Intermediate Systems Analyst (Project Management)
The UNIX System Administrator configures, supports, and maintains servers based on the UNIX operating system (Predominantly RedHat Enterprise). The Administrator will analyze and resolve problems associated with the server's hardware, applications, and software. In addition, the Administrator will detect, diagnose, monitor, and maintain relevant documentation for the servers. This position requires interaction with customers and co-workers on a regular basis. On-Call and after standard hours work will happen with this position.
Duties:
- Responsible for analyzing current systems to find any flaws or inefficiencies.
- Assists with planning solutions to resolve all issues and ensures long-term effectiveness.
- Evaluates current IT systems, including hardware, software, and network features.
- Communicates with management and employees to determine system requirements.
- Plans new systems that address any issues with the current systems.
- Prepares cost-benefit analysis reports for all proposed upgrades.
- Collaborates with the IT team to implement a plan.
- Tests the new systems to validate it is working as expected.
- Resolves issues and ensures solutions are viable and consistent.
- Assists with creating training processes and documentation to teach others how to use new systems.
- Assists with creating system guidelines and manuals.
- Conducts reviews of the system and generates reports on efficiencies and improvement areas and presents to management.
- Keeps up to date with the latest developments in information systems.
- May ensure all budget and timeline constraints are met.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
**The position will office in OKC with a hybrid work model option for experienced candidates.**
Required education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
- 24 months experience as a Systems Analyst or similar experience.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months related experience.
