Process Engineering Co-op (Project Management)
The Technical Process Engineering Co-op is a co-operative learning experience for a Laboratory-Science curriculum student, that supports the continuous improvement of our paper recycling and Tissue manufacturing operations at the Menasha Wisconsin Paper Mill facility.
The Process Engineering Co-op works with operators, Process Engineers, and Maintenance Reliability Leaders, the Organizational Improvement Manager, Plant Initiatives Manager, and other operations technical leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives and daily fiber recovery system data collection necessary for efficient operations.

*Collect data and perform tests on wastepaper recycling system, paper machines, and related equipment and processes.
*Perform trend analysis on related data to understand and predict process balance, health and stability
*Identify improvement opportunities and work with Engineers, Utilities, and Manufacturing Team to develop scientific-method based trials
*Conduct waste and materials audits, manage chemical inventory related processes, interact with vendors and technical consultants.
*Maintain process lab equipment and supplies
*Support site Safety initiatives
Undergraduate college student enrolled in a 4 year Engineering program in the areas of Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, Environmental Engineering, or other related lab science, able to work a 40 hour -per- week position on site in Wisconsin from January-August 2024.
$22-24/hour with possible housing stipend, full benefit program
