As the 2nd Shift Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for coaching and developing members and team leaders. You will have responsibility and oversight of Production, Shipping , and Maintenance operations. This position is involved in the planning and execution of manufacturing objectives to achieve company/facility goals in four end-states (safety, quality, cost and service). You will leverage your skills and experience in the areas of leadership, continuous improvement, and building people to develop strategies and tactics that will ensure successful production of the most craveable sausage in the world. Responsibilities:
Own the safety, quality, and productivity results in the areas you are focused
Develop future leaders and create readiness pathways within and outside the facility
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive improvements in our four end states, safety, quality, service, and productivity
Work closely with the Operations Coordinator to develop budget and strategic plans for the Finished Goods Production Line
Promote and instill a culture of personal learning and professional development and ensure the successful development of all members within the operation
Assess trends within results (safety, quality, productivity, etc.) and work with teams to eliminate the issues
Facilitate and drive goal, objective, and project planning with teams that this position is responsible for leading
Drive teamwork and collaboration with the Finished Goods, Shipping, Maintenance, teams to achieve results
Attend meetings related to safety, quality, productivity, projects, continuous improvement, etc.
In conjunction with Team Leaders, lead hiring teams and processes as it relates to new member and new position hiring and onboarding
Work with team leaders to manage member performance, reviews, development, and disciplinary issues that occur on the production floor
Work with Scheduler and Team Leader(s) on weekly product scheduling for operations area
Identify and share best practices across the facility and network
Drive both team and personal ownership within the Team Leaders and Members
Provide relief leadership coverage for peers
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience and business knowledge will be considered in lieu of degree completion
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing leadership/supervisory role required
Experience in the food industry is preferred
Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred

Experience using continuous improvement methodologies (5S, lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to improve products and processes
