Home Health Billing and Insurance Verification Specialist (Administrative)
MUST have at minimum 1 (one) year experience of home care/ home health billing experience. Applicants without this experience will not be reviewed or contacted.
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, position, strictly in-person and office-based.

As Homeland HomeHealth's Insurance Verification Specialist you would be responsible for verifying patient insurance and completing pre-authorizations to ensure accurate and timely completion and submission of billing, collections, and accounts receivable functions of the organization. A critical component of this role is to demonstrate the agency's culture of compassion, accountability, and results by displaying the highest standards of integrity, superb follow-through, consistency, first rate customer service and exceptional client satisfaction.
Insurance Verification Specialist Requirements include:
Education/ Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient computer skills in business applications.
Knowledge of office equipment (i.e. printer, fax, computer) use and simple maintenance.
Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with diverse populations.
Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to assigned duties.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to collect, interpret, and/ or analyze complex data and information.
Experience
Minimum age requirement of 18 with high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of one (1) year of home care/home health medical coding or billing experience.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania state requirements.
Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
Satisfactory criminal background check.
Access to reliable internet access outside of the work setting.
