Business Development Manager - Dollar General (Healthcare)

In this role, you're accountable for all aspects of building, selling, and executing joint business plans that deliver the objectives of the assigned customer team and Kimberly-Clark Business Unit(s). Given the size and scale of assigned business, the Business Development Manager (BDM) must understand the implications their plans have on brand strategies and the broader marketplace. You'll lead Joint Business Planning, involving key internal stakeholders from BU Sales, Marketing, etc, and work alongside key customer contacts to gain alignment on goals and plans. Collaboration with the customer and internal stakeholders, to execute the plan and check/adjust as necessary is key to achieving goals in this role. This role is hybrid based out of our Kimberly-Clark Nashville, TN Sales Office, and not a remote role.
In this role you will:
Deliver Net Sales, Contribution, Category Share, and DPSM Objectives for assigned customer team and BU(s)
Adhere to Trade Promotion and dead net pricing guideline
Achieve JBP goals that are mutually agreed upon with assigned customer
Collaboratively Build the Customer Business Plan
Engage Customer in Joint Business Planning to gain alignment to plans
Implement the Customer Business Plan
Manage Delivery of Plan and Business Objectives (Check and Adjust)

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years progressive exempt status experience in business (international business, if applicable), customer management and customer development or equivalent in other business functions
Proficient in statistics and quantitative business analysis
Financial/budget, currency exchange and sales team management
Experience presenting to Executive Level staff
Preferred:
Knowledge of forecasting, supply and demand processes, shelf reset experience, business planning processes and tools
Experience working in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry and K-C customer/retailer accounts, ideally working with Dollar General as your customer
Strong record of exceeding sales objectives
Knowledge of K-C organizational structure, brands, categories, go to market policies, and procedures
Track record of developing and executing unique solutions and innovation to customers
Digital commerce experience preferred
Strong oral, verbal and written communication skills, results and strategy orientation, business intuition, business management and planning, brand management, leadership, building strong relationships, statistics and quantitative business analysis, change management and team management
Mentoring, networking, employee training and development, resource management, prioritization, cross-functional, superior customer service and problem solving

Salary Range: $122,000–$151,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
