Sports Skill Instructor - Gymnastics (Whitaker) (Creative Design)
Mondays & Wednesday 5:45pm - 7:15pm.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrives 10 minutes prior to class for set upOn the first day of class you must introduce yourself to participants and parents.Be available for parents before class each week for parents that may have questionsAlways take roll and learn the childrens namesStretch out at the beginning of classTeach children proper skills needed to play the sport they are learning. Teach it at their age level.Use the games approach to make it more fun for the children to learn the proper skillsTeach the children about being fair, waiting for their turn in line and keeping their hands to themselvesEnforce sportsmanship and de-emphasize winningAt the end of every day of the class, huddle everyone together and put a hand in the center. Then yell out the name of the sport that you have been teaching them.Make sure you know where the children are running off to at the end. If they are outside, DO NOT let them run inside to the YMCA without their parent or YMCA staff. If they are inside, DO NOT let them run upstairs without their parent or YMCA staff unless they are 10 years old or older. Make sure every child has a ride home before leaving the site.Make it fun for the participants

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age.QUALIFICATIONS:To successfully accomplish this job, an individual must be competent in performing each essential duty.
