Job Description:
Position Overview: The Director of Commercial Administration will lead and oversee the commercial sales administration and solutions team within MODE Global. This strategic role involves optimizing sales operations, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and developing innovative logistics solutions to meet client needs across our diverse service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the commercial administration and solutions team, providing strategic direction and oversight.
• Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales administration.
• Support commercial sales teams with administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and CRM management.
• Design and deliver tailored logistics solutions across truckload, LTL, IM, Parcel, Air, and Ocean services.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with company goals and market trends.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Foster strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional service.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and innovations to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, contracts and detailed reports for internal and external reasons.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related
field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in sales administration, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on commercial leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing teams and driving process improvements.
• In-depth understanding of truckload, LTL, Parcel, Air, and Ocean logistics.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
