Program Manager II- Assessment (Finance)
1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a large or complex department or program.
2. Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis.
3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
4. Prepares abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
5. Creates and reviews reports of expenditures and activities.
6. May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
7. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
8. May serve as property custodian for the department.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.

Provide one-on-one and group consultations to staff from all departments in the Division of Student Affairs to address their annual program and service assessment and evaluation needs. Guide staff in defining measurable program outcomes and learning outcomes, identifying assessment needs, and creating and managing assessment plans through an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
Prepare and disseminate assessment findings in a timely manner to division leadership and staff upon request.
Pull student demographic, GPA, and graduation/retention rate information from university records to track the impact of different Student Affairs programs and services.
Assist in preparing correspondence and reports about assessment activities with the division, including the contributions of the division toward student learning, retention, and success.
Assist with assessment instrument and method development and facilitation (e.g. surveys, focus groups, SWOT analysis, etc.) for both divisional and departmental projects.
Develop and implement assessment trainings for division staff.
Support division staff with assessment and planning platforms such as Qualtrics, and provide training and troubleshooting.
Serve as a Co-Chair of the division's Assessment Committee.
Assist in the running of the division's annual departmental external review process.
Support the management of the division's strategic plan and advise division staff on how they contribute to it.
Preferred qualifications of: Experience with using Excel, R, and/or Qualtrics
