CNC Lathe Machinist - Weiler (1st and 2nd shift)

* 4-day Monday-Thursday schedule; 15% Differential Pay for 2nd shift

Responsibilities include:
• Operates Weiler E Series Hybrid CNC Lathe
• Ability to create programs using Weiler programming
• Measure and examine completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cuts.
• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain proper coolant levels and mixture.
• Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
• Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years or more experience with CNC Lathe Machine set-up.

Schedule:

Day Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon-Thur)

Night Shift (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Mon-Thur)
