Job Summary: The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Defense & Aerospace will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, focusing on expanding Jabil's footprint within the defense and aerospace sectors. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, government agencies, defense contractors, and commercial aerospace customers to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the defense and aerospace market, as well as a strong network and experience in new business development.
What can you expect to do?
New Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the defense and aerospace markets. Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement strategic growth plans that align with the company's objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and areas for growth. Leverage insights to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including defense contractors, government agencies, and commercial aerospace customers. Build long-term partnerships by understanding their needs and delivering value-added solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide input to ensure that products and services align with customer expectations and market demands.
Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving new revenue streams. Track progress against sales goals and provide regular updates to senior management.
Industry Engagement: Represent Jabil at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's capabilities and build industry presence.

The pay range for this role is $115,500 - $207,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: March 21, 2025.As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
