Production Lead -2nd Shift (Manufacturing)
Supervision Support:
Assist supervisors in overseeing work area personnel, managing production workflow, delegating tasks, and monitoring production schedules. (30% Essential)
Communicate with support groups to ensure production lines have the resources needed to meet schedules. (10% Essential)
Machine Operations:
Assist machine operators with operations, changeovers, and training new employees. (15% Essential)
Collaborate with maintenance for machine repairs when required. (5% Essential)
Backup Support:
Act as a backup for various line positions, including machine operators and supervisors, and handle additional tasks as needed. (10% Essential)
Supply Management:
Provide production employees with necessary supplies, equipment, and machine parts for daily tasks. (5% Essential)
Quality and Documentation:
Ensure JBSS quality procedures and programs are followed and maintained; assist with SQF, JST, and new hire training. (5% Essential)
Check work order accuracy and collaborate with machine operators to address and resolve production documentation issues. (5% Essential)
Communication and Reporting:
Communicate with other departments and deliver production status reports. (5% Essential)
Audit Preparation:
Maintain audit-ready work areas and assist with internal and external audits. (5% Essential)
Safety and GMP:
Support JBSS safety, quality/food safety, and GMP programs. (5% Essential)
Maintain compliance with current good manufacturing practices, food safety programs, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure food safety and quality by maintaining preventive controls and reporting any issues immediately to management.
Foster collaboration by sharing knowledge and skills within the team and across departments.
Support technical, professional, and leadership development.
Practice and promote workplace safety, reporting potential hazards and conducting safety observations.
