SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resource Clerk works in cooperation with the Director of Human Resources in ensuring that personnel records are up to date and entering new employee information.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Gathers appropriate information for submissions to obtain background checks for applicants
Sends monthly reports to offices requesting file update expirations. Maintains current information in HR Database and company software systems
Follow up with office as appropriate on expired documents maintained in personnel files as they expire.
Coordinates and schedules Fingerprinting for Oklahoma applicants
Data entry of new hires into company systems and HR Database. Providing new hire information to payroll weekly
Performs monthly OIG reports for all staff. Maintains binder reflecting reports for database matching names
Performs annual licensure checks. Performs EMR and NAR reports for all unlicensed Texas staff who have face to face contact with patients
Compiles new employee personnel files and contract labor files
Entering and maintaining change of status, file updates information in HR Database and company systems

This position has been designated Class III (see policy 9-001). Employees performing Class III duties are not at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. All Class III employees will not be offered Hepatitis B vaccination.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
Extensive phone use and computer data entry.
Ability to effectively deal with stress.
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Agency personnel are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as may be requested and/or required by their immediate supervisor. In addition, agency personnel are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job related skills and abilities. All agency personnel must attend mandatory educational programs.
