Key Responsibilities: (Depending upon skills and experience.)
Human Resource Business Partner
HR & Payroll Support: Provide full-cycle HR and payroll services to member organizations ranging from 10 to 10,000 employees. This includes:
Coaching and advising leadership on employee relations and performance managementEmployee life-cycle management (recruitment, onboarding, retention, etc.)HR compliance (federal, state, and local laws)Developing employee handbooksConducting HR & payroll auditsPerforming 3rd party investigationsImplementing HR systems and integrationsManaging job architecture projectsPayroll processing and administrationBenefits Administration Policy interpretation and implementation Contribute to the development of content for publications, and represent MRA through recorded and live speaking engagements (webinars, podcasts, in-person events).Maintain accurate service records and submit semi-monthly time reports.
Member Relations
Act as a Wayfinder for existing and potential members, guiding them through our services and ensuring they are receiving maximum value.Use modern tools and techniques to build and maintain long-term relationships, demonstrating the value of MRAs offerings.
Learning and Development
Design, prepare, deliver, and evaluate training courses for both member and non-member employees. This includes:
Developing training materials (e.g., workbooks, presentations, scripts for on-demand learning)Facilitating live online and in-person sessionsCollaborating with team members and members to identify training needs and deliver solutions.Evaluating training effectiveness and making continuous improvements.Supporting other instructors with new programs and learning content.
Minimum Qualifications:
Human Resource Business Partner:
10+ years of HR experience with hands-on experience in payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.Proven experience in an HR leadership role, including partnering with leadership on strategic development.Strong knowledge of payroll software (ADP WFN, UKG Pro, Paylocity, Paycom, Paycor preferred).PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification; FPC or CPP a plus.Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.Proficient in MS Office Suite.Ability to travel to member companies within a one-hour radius of the local office.
Member Relations:
Experience in sales and/or business development..Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).Valid drivers license and ability to travel.
Learning & Development:
2+ years of experience in designing and facilitating adult learning programs.Proven experience with both in-person and online facilitation.
