The successful summer intern candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support for the civil engineering design and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling group. Typical projects include a wide variety of federal, state, and municipal projects involving storm water, site layout and design, water resources, and water/wastewater projects involving collection and conveyance systems and associated utility design, pump stations, and storage and treatment facilities.

Your Role:
- Assist in design and permitting of projects
- Support Engineers with conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
- Assist in preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
- Assist in preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates
- Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
- Interface with other engineering disciplines
- Plan, coordinate and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner
Qualifications:
• Third- or fourth-year student enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
