Safety Professional (Transportation)
The Safety Professional is primarily responsible for evaluating and observing work sites, responding to incidents, and supporting the implementation of injury management plans as well as safety programs while acting in accordance with company values, vision and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor performance of safety and quality programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiencyOperational assistance including Final Incident Reports (FIRs), pre-cons, and client feedbackReview assigned facilities for general safety, including fire, and emergency proceduresDevelopment content for safety programs and assist with executionComplete daily activity report and submit daily reportingPerform incident investigation as requiredParticipate in incident investigation review with management as requiredAssist in the development of post incident lessons learned and training materials (i.e. FF Learn content)Compile, maintain, analyze and report incident, audit and safety statisticsAssist and support RISK department projects and process improvementAnticipated 70% of time spent in the fieldConduct, attend and participate in various department meetings as necessaryParticipate in Safety and Fleet policy developmentMaintain valid internal training certificationsOther duties as assigned by Safety Manager
