APEX Restaurant and Market Solutions/ Elite Cuisine provides corporations with their restaurant and food service. We are in need of line cooks! Our business is open Monday through Friday daytime hours. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKNEDS!
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare appropriately seasoned, cooked, and eye-appealingly delicious food to corporate employees from a client-facing action station. Must have a desire and inclination to interact with people. We all eat with our eyes first.
You are autonomously responsible for the creativity you bring to your station. Taste your cooking and hone-in seasoning, create a visually appealing station and cook food you love to make.
Follow daily/weekly menu set forth by Chef and provide creative input on innovative and collaborative ideas of how to create client-requested or client-specific menu option for the action station based on sales and feedback.
Adequately estimate daily station pars and mise en place based upon daily/weekly sales; check previous production logs to ensure par is met or exceeded.
Fill out daily production logs to accurately plan future production of station and set-up station accordingly to include back-ups, utensils, signage, and price-labeled containers.
Comfortable with cross-training on multiple stations - prep, action, grill, and self-serve.
Follow opening/closing checklist - thoroughly clean and sanitize workstation while working. When service is slow, you are actively involved inside work and/or prep.
Complies with all safety and sanitation standards, policies, and procedures. Label, date, FIFO, cooling and heating temperatures, deep cleaning. We are sticklers for health code adherence.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
