Job Summary

A Machine Operator II performs tasks necessary to keep product available for the production lines. Operate production equipment according to instructions to ensure proper operations and product output. The Machine Operator II works directly with various packaging machinery on the production line, checks product quality, handles finished products for hand packaging and is responsible for documentation and compliance.

Rotating Schedule - Working 2 days, off 2 days and return to work 3 days
Job Description
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the operations of machinery and associated equipment to detect and report malfunctions.
Prepare product for transfer and/or final processing. Inspect product output for quality and accuracy.
Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and minor machine maintenance such as cleaning debris from machine, performing product and instrument checks, and complete equipment repairs and part replacement.
Respond to machinery breakdowns and/or material upsets and restore machine to working condition minimizing downtime.
Review material availability with necessary teams and assist in securing materials to support and meet production schedule.
Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area.
Education:
High school diploma
Additional:
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$19.75 - $27.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
