Job Description

Bose intern/co-op program aims to provide students with hands-on opportunities to solve real-world problems with software skills. In addition to enhancing software development skills, you will also collaborate with research, acoustic tuning teams to see the product life cycle. Education
* BS student minimum, graduate student preferred
Skills
* Coursework in embedded systems, real-time operating system (RTOS), algorithms, or computer architecture
* Experience in C, Python, and MATLAB
* Experience in algorithm development, validation, performance benchmarking, and debug
* Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for audio applications
Responsibilities
* Develop prototype SW modules that meet system design requirements
* Write high-quality, maintainable source code that meets peer code review expectation
* Deploy, operate work product in the embedded development environment
* Technical documentation on software design, implementation, and validation
Project Description
The objective of this role aims to assist development of reusable software modules that enable basic audio controls and commands for Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC family. In the up-integration model, Bose automotive audio features shall meet high expectation to deliver platform agnostic SW modules in a multi-core SoC (ARM and Hexagon DSP cores) and enable close collaboration with partners without revealing Bose IP. The qualified candidate will participate in code development, performance benchmarking, and preparation of technical documentation.
