Program Manager (LabAspire) - Hybrid/Richmond, CA (Biotech)
SUMMARY
The CDPH-CAPHLD LabAspire Program seeks a Program Manager to work closely and collaborate with public health laboratories in the state, local counties, and the California Association of Public Health Lab Directors (CAPHLD) to manage and facilitate the LabAspire Program.
Applicants must be able to maintain a consistent and regular schedule; communicate regularly and effectively (orally and in writing) in dealing with the public, collaborating agencies, and employees; develop and maintain knowledge and skills related specifically to tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and technology; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
This position will oversee and manage the LabAspire Program, partners, candidates, and employee(s), as well as assist with managing volunteers and recruiting participants. Tasks will involve managing and working with emails, forms, different software and documents, online platforms, and resources, coordinating reports, purchases, presentations, and schedules. Experience with curriculum development, program evaluation and management, online platforms (e.g., Canvas and website development), reporting, performance management, supply requisitions and ordering, inventory management, and maintenance of Program resources are necessary. Maintaining an organized work environment, multi-tasking, working well in a team environment, managing a team, and being detail-oriented are essential skills for this position.

The salary/hourly range will depend on experience/qualifications.
Full-time salary range is $103,992 to $117,048 annually.
Part-time hourly range is $49.99 to $56.27 per hour.

This is a hybrid position and will intermittently be required to work at the CDPH campus in Richmond, CA in indoor temperature controlled general office and laboratory settings.
Essential workforce training may take up to 40 hours per week on site in Richmond, CA.
Must have functioning internet access at remote location.
