Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in construction or a related field.
- Proficiency with electrical and pneumatic power tools and hand tools.
- Basic math skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair wooden pallets (75-85 lbs.) efficiently and accurately to meet safety and productivity standards.
- Inspect pallets for defects such as broken boards, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination.
- Correct any defects not meeting specifications.
- Remove damaged boards using a pry bar and hammer.
- Utilize a reciprocating saw and grinder to remove old and bent nails.
- Attach appropriate boards per company specifications using a pneumatic nail gun and hammer.
- Perform basic math to track pallet repairs.
- Be prepared for frequent overtime, weekend work, or rotating shifts.
