LIMS Analyst (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
A Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) monitors and recommends improvements to Quality LIMS software and integrations. S/he works closely with internal R&D team and site members to understand business requirements and implement processes to meet those needs. LIMS SMEs will use skills in troubleshooting and problem solving to address organizational challenges and opportunities improving current operations and procedures utilizing LIMS.Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate and perform requirements analysis, develop and implement solutions with internal R&D teams and/or manufacturing facilities.
- Partner and work with cross-functional teams/process owners to understand requirements.
- Develop test methods and sample templates; prepare test data, test, and document results for unit, integration and testing.
- Oversee implementation of projects from inception to completion. - Troubleshooting and addressing questions/issues from customers and internal personnel.
- Maintain compliance with USP and ISO regulations and Medline policies and procedures at all times.
- Creating training documents/conducting training sessions for new users as well as for updates within the LIMS system.
Education
- Bachelor's degree.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years of software management experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Strong skills in problem solving, analysis and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technicians.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Scientific discipline (Microbiology, Chemistry, Material Sciences).
- Experience in a scientific discipline (Microbiology, Chemistry, Material Sciences).
- Experience in LIMS, Quality Systems, JIRA, Crystal Reports.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$79,560.00 - $115,440.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
