User Services Spec 2 (Finance)
1. Analyzes computer user problems and recommends and implements hardware and software solutions.
2. Schedules office visits, troubleshoots computer problems and diagnoses cause.
3. Installs and configures software components on various operating systems.
4. Maintains Computer Server resources; may teach or provide hands-on computer courses and workshops.
5. Analyzes computer needs of department and provides assessment of technology trends in computer systems.
6. Facilitates network assignments by gathering information and disseminating requests and results.
7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: "Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. "
Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience and experience in lieu of education.
