*Research Epidemiologist (Project Management)
Studies diseases within populations of humans. Investigates communicable disease outbreaks, chronic illness conditions, disease risk factors, or other adverse health outcomes. Collaborates with medical, public health researchers, and scientific researchers in the study design. Evaluates public health programs and develops research instruments. Collects, manages and analyzes data. Interprets results, prepares reports, and publishes research.
Duties:
Required Education: Master's Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Mathematics and 24 months SAS, SPSS or equivalent experience in a public health or biomedical science environment.
