The HR intern will participate in foundational HR duties by performing day-to-day human resource activities . Focus areas will depend on the intern's education, experience, and interest and could include multiple HR domains . The HR internship program targets students interested in a generalist role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education : Undergraduate student who is majoring in Human Resources or related field Minimum GPA 3.0
Work Experience : One year of work experience ; Human Resources related experience preferred Physical : Ability to periodically travel (sometimes overnight) ; Ability to lift various materials that could weigh up to 50 lb , stoop, bend and stretch to assemble/ disassemble marketing displays; Ability to sit for long periods using a PC and telephone.
Other : Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Strong research skills

The HR internship program targets students interested in a generalist role. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES \n \nPotential HR Responsibilities \n\nLearning & Development (L&D) support could include planning and executing instructional and/or research assignments and engaging in professional training services in support of organizational and departmental training initiatives. \nConduct L&D support task to include importing/assigning Learning Management System classes, scheduling classes, updating internal training communication mediums, and administering post-class surveys, etc. \nRecruiting tasks could include preparing for and attending recruiting events, high school and technical school out-reach, digital recruiting campaign support, background check administration, interview scheduling. \nCreate a positive new employee experience by supporting the coordination of the new hire onboarding week to include preparing new hire packets and I-9 collection. \nGrow positive employee relations by assisting in the planning and execution of company events. \nPromote HR communications by maintaining the internal HR intranet page.\nAssist Human Resources Team to perform all other duties as assigned. \nHRIS Admin support may consist of support pertaining to collection and submission of employee data into our HRIS and connecting systems (including but not limited to Dayforce, GPAX, HireRight, PooleNet, and Convergence\nHRIS Admin related tasks include conducting audits of employee data to ensure data integrity (I9 forms and Dayforce-GPAX data connections), data entry into connecting systems, assisting with research of upcoming HRIS updates, and testing of various system improvements.\nPotential HR Continuous Improvement Projects Plan and execute small projects impacting areas such as compensation, diversity & inclusion, HR data analytics, benefits, and learning and development. \n\n \nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Undergraduate student who is majoring in Human Resources or related field Minimum GPA 3.0 \nWork Experience: One year of work experience; Human Resources related experience preferred Physical: Ability to periodically travel (sometimes overnight); Ability to lift various materials that could weigh up to 50 lb, stoop, bend and stretch to assemble/disassemble marketing displays; Ability to sit for long periods using a PC and telephone. \nOther: Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Strong research skills \n \n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and capable of managing content preferred \n\n \n\nFamiliar with using Microsoft Publisher or similar application preferred \n\n \n\nHighly organized, detail-focused, and customer service oriented \nComfortable using social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) \n\n \n\nMust be interested in Human Resources and/or Organizational Development as a discipline \n\n \n\nSpanish bi-lingual skills a plus \n\n \nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
