A Day in the Life
The Medtronic Pelvic Health team is dedicated to expanding access to care for the many Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Fecal Incontinence (FI) patients who are eligible for advanced therapies but are not currently receiving them. We are seeking a strategic, passionate, and experienced Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships to play a pivotal role in growing the market. This role will be instrumental in supporting market growth by developing and nurturing relationships with physicians, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups. The Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships will also oversee the US-based Medical Education programs. This role will work closely with Upstream and Downstream Marketing, the US Medical Education team, and cross-functional leaders to develop a comprehensive partnership plan that will expand patient access.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives for market growth. This includes an assessment, profiling and segmentation of physicians, societies and potential advocacy group partners.
Relationship Management: Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, medical societies, and advocacy groups strategically aligned with the business to increase market access and to aid in the education of other healthcare professionals. Focus will span the full Pelvic Health portfolio including specific support for the upcoming launch into ITNM.
Program development: Develop and execute a KOL engagement plan that considers multiple touchpoints throughout the year to provide input on key initiatives and strengthen the physician / Medtronic partnerships.
Continuous Improvement: Leverage data, market analysis, societies and KOL feedback to continuously enhance the engagement strategies and improve educational programs ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the therapy market, and leverage insights to inform partnership strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment of partnership initiatives with overall business objectives.
Performance Tracking: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and report on progress to senior management regularly.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations and agreements with potential partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support long-term collaboration.
Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote partnership opportunities.
Medical Education: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Medical Education plan aimed at increasing physician adoption and expanding patient access across the US.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$234,400.00 - $351,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
