Position Summary
The Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, utensils, cookware, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. The dishwasher ensures the dish room and dishwashing areas are maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary workstation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Set up and break down dishwashing areaWeekends and evenings are required Sort, rinse and load dirty dishware, glassware, tableware, and utensils in commercial dishwasherInspect, sort and stack clean wares and place in proper locationChange water in dish machine per ware washing guidelinesWash pots, pans, and misc. equipment by handRemove trash and garbage to dumpsterConduct general restroom cleaning per specsKeep dish machine temperature logs per company guidelinesKeep dish room area and floors clean and safeAbility to follow safety protocolsOther duties as directed
