What You'll Do:
Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Stay current on all new accounting developments relevant to the company including producing technical memos as appropriate
Coordinate internal and year-end audits
Preparation (including concept development) of customized executive-level management financial reports; review and provide feedback on reporting prepared by other associates
Presentation of financial reports and written analysis as well as verbal presentation of firm financial information and financial insights
Proactively identify efficiency/control improvements with moderate to broad impact and visibility, propose solutions to relevant parties and drive implementation
Inform and educate other business areas as to the financial impact of business decision, as well as recommending an optimal or preferred solution to influence strategic direction
Participate in and frequently lead cross-functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of division or firm-wide business objectives
Take constructive action with little or no direction from others

Bachelor's degree in a related field
6+ years of relevant work experience
Technical accounting research experience
Advanced Financial analysis skills
Intermediate to advanced understanding of accounting processes and financial statements
Ability to summarize complex financial information and concepts and clearly communicate to associates and leadership up to the Executive Management level using verbal, written and presentation skills.
