Logistics Coordinator (Administrative)
High Transit LLC assists heavy hauling companies in moving a wide variety of oversize and overweight loads. We provide specialty services for customers in the civil construction, transportation, building construction, manufacturing, Marcellus Shale, and heavy equipment industries. We are seeking a Load Coordinator to support our High Transit team.
The Logistic Coordinator will support the Shipping Department in overall daily operation by performing a variety of administrative and analytical tasks to improve load efficiencies. Develop multi-piece loads through Engineering to the DOT customer. Provide load configuration and develop routing package for all jobs to ensure preliminary permit approvals on all jobs. Additional assignments include developing loads using the Bill of Lading system, ordering permits, DOT record keeping, documenting equipment specifications, and serving as backup to other shipping team members, as necessary. The individual will report to the Logistic Supervisor.
This position is located at the High Transit Office in Lancaster, PA working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
