Accounting - Intern General Description The Accounting Intern is charged with the responsibility of assisting the Controller in executing accounting processes as assigned. She/he may help prepare financial statements, perform audits, assist in cycle counting, and assist in analysis as assigned.
This job description is intended to be an overview of the primary responsibilities for this position. All employees are charged with aiding in generally similar duties when management deems it necessary. Organizational Relationships and Authority The Engineering Intern is mentored by one of our Manufacturing Engineers and reports directly to the Engineering Manager. There are no direct management reports for this position. Engineering Interns collaborate extensively with the Operations Team. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Accounting Intern is to support the continuous improvement of GSM's accounting processes.
