Business Development Representative (Sales)

What we're offering:
A full-time Business Development Representative position based in the OKC or Tulsa area. This role includes a competitive salary targeting $103k+ as well as annual incentive opportunities. The Role:
This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and executing the company's business development strategies within the assigned territory. This position drives sales growth by achieving production and profitability targets while consistently delivering superior results. It requires expertise in agency distribution, broker management, and market development, along with a deep understanding of the local marketplace, company capabilities, and corporate vision.
Who we're looking for:
- Candidate must reside in the OKC or Tulsa metro area
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field with 4+ years business development experience preferably in the P&C insurance industry
- Demonstrated collaboration as part of a high performing, successful sales team with a history of achieving or exceeding production goals
- Knowledge of selling insurance products through key distribution partners and underwriters in the territory
- Negotiation, relationship building, and presentation skills with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to challenges and opportunities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce preferred
- Professional insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) are a plus
- Willingness to travel 60-75%, including overnight stays, within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives. Occasional evening and weekend travel may be required based on business needs. A valid drivers license, clean driving record, motor vehicle insurance, and use of personal vehicle is required (travel allowance is provided).
