The Senior Business Development Manager (Senior Manager) will focus on several firmwide initiatives, including lateral integration, attorney business development coaching and training, and the execution of the firm's Client Service Team and Client Feedback Programs. This position also serves as a resource for business development requests emanating from practices, including partner and pitch opportunity coaching, client or industry targeting, and business development planning, and contributes to the implementation of business development skills training. The Senior Manager will have significant experience providing attorneys at all levels with coaching on practice and individual business development plans and their implementation.
The Senior Manager works collaboratively with the Marketing and Business Development Manager/Specialist (MBDM/S) practice support and core Business Development teams. This position will be responsible for proactively driving business development activity across the firm and for maintaining an understanding of (and providing input on) marketing efforts that are being directly handled by other members of the Marketing and Business Development Department (Department) that impact business development efforts. Essential duties are performed individually or in conjunction with other members of the Department. The Senior Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment and maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters.
Katten offers a hybrid work model, allowing the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely on a regular basis (KattenFlex). This position may be located in either our Chicago, Charlotte, Dallas, New York, or Washington, D.C. office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
In our New York office, the annualized salary range for this position is $135,000 to $210,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
