1. Education:
High School diploma/GED required.
Use of basic math, including decimals and fractions and basic skills knowledge are required for this position.
2. Skills and Abilities:
Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and the division of numbers including decimal and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, writing diagrams, computer scanning devices ,use of adjustable measuring instruments; checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data; where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
3. Experience:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Welding experience preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must pass visual acuity test.
May be required to work with parts weighing 1 pound up to 60 pounds using mechanical and manual assistance as needed.
Export-Controlled Data
Perform welding on specified jobs as needed.
Essential Functions
Resolve problems with porosity, lack of fusion, voids, lack of welds etc. as they occur.
Perform welder prep prior to welding and weld deburr.
Perform small fabrications for gas backups.
Operate hardness test machines.
Ability to read, understand and follow operational sketches.
Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Must maintain welding certification status and perform all other duties as assigned.
