Product Strategy Senior Advisor - Cigna Healthcare Digital Musculoskeletal Vendor Solution Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Strategy Senior Advisor is responsible for defining and implementing the product management strategy for a new Digital Musculoskeletal (MSK) vendor solution to be offered to a subset of Cigna Healthcare clients. The Product Strategy Senior Advisor will serve as the assigned Cigna Healthcare program manager to the Digital MSK Vendor in accordance with the vendor contract. This position will also monitor overall performance of the Digital MSK vendor solution by establishing product management processes to monitor key performance metrics (KPI's) and evaluating performance of the solution compared to business case targets. This position will lead and support the implementation plan for the Digital MSK vendor solution. This position will facilitate any interim manual processes required to operationalize the Digital MSK vendor program prior to launching automated capabilities to service the solution. This position will define requirements to enable automated processes to support the Digital MSK Vendor solution for processes such as sales, underwriting, pricing, eligibility feeds, data sharing, billing, vendor reimbursement, and reporting. The Product Strategy Senior Advisor will lead go-to-market activities to optimize client adoption of the Digital MSK Vendor solution. This position will support defining integration strategy and coordinate with product partners when Digital MSK Vendor Solution is purchased with Cigna Pathwell Bone & Joint.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Define and implement product management strategy for Digital MSK vendor solution including client adoption / retention, performance management/KPIs, financial projections (actual/projected), and reporting (internal/external)
• Serve as main point of contact to the Digital MSK vendor for sales pipeline management, implementation activities, ongoing operations management, issue identification & resolution, reporting, and other identified activities. Coordinate and communicate with appropriate internal Cigna Healthcare contacts as appropriate to carry out responsibilities.
• Lead go-to-market activities to enable sales of Digital MSK vendor solution to eligible Cigna Healthcare clients including partnering with marketing/vendor to develop marketing collaterals, establish KnowledgeXchange collection and content for internal and external use, create and provide sales training materials, and other activities to optimize client adoption of Digital MSK vendor solution. Provide internal (sales) and external (clients, brokers) presentations to explain Digital MSK Vendor Solution.
• Facilitate monthly sales pipeline calls and manage sales pipeline opportunities across Cigna Healthcare Sales and Digital MSK vendor
• Lead development and execution of implementation plan with Digital MSK vendor and interact with internal areas withing Cigna Healthcare and with Digital MSK vendor contact(s) as appropriate.
• Identify, implement, and support interim manual processes such as eligibility feeds and billing to enable initial sales of Digital MSK vendor solution prior to establishing automated capabilities in place.
• Define requirements to build automated capabilities to administer the sales, underwriting, install, eligibility, billing, finance, reporting, data sharing, vendor reimbursement, and other capabilities as identified for the Digital MSK vendor solution. Coordinate with internal Cigna partners and Digital MSK vendor contacts on documenting automated capability requirements.
• Collaborate with Pathwell Bone & Joint product leads to define integration strategy when Digital MSK Vendor Solution sold in conjunction with Pathwell Bone & Joint and coordinate with Digital MSK Vendor(s) contacts where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field preferred.8-10 years of product development, product strategy, clinical program strategy, provider/network strategies, or related experience, ideally with responsibility for creating innovative health care products
• Strategic and creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate customer problems and opportunities into product strategies and product strategies into actions/requirements.
• Must be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously, as well as dealing with ambiguity and conflict.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a heavily matrixed culture and drive results with a strong sense of urgency, and in an environment of ambiguity.
• Excellent meeting facilitation and organizational skills
• Ability to foster superior collaboration, value other perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals, built upon excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to quickly translate ideas and insights into presentation ready documents
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Strong financial, analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills including experience developing business cases
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Strong influencing and presentation skills.
• Can convey complex information in an understandable way to various audiences
