Assists in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by management, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.Uses inventory tracking logs to track equipment within the facility (i.e., pumps, poles, concentrators, nebulizers, mattresses, etc.).Fills requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.Ensures supplies and equipment are properly maintained.Organizes storage and issues/delivers supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.Ensures inventory is updated, as required, when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment.Ensures all telephone orders and other correspondence is confirmed.Ensures the various departments are charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
