Position Summary:
The Development Generalist supports the Engineering and Computing Development Team in achieving strategic fundraising and engagement goals. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development - Team Lead, this role collaborates with development officers, the dean, faculty, staff, and volunteers to advance the School of Engineering and Computing's development efforts.
Key responsibilities include coordinating donor stewardship activities, managing administrative and fiscal operations of the development office, supporting stewardship plans, and assisting with special projects and events involving the dean and external stakeholders.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to supporting institutional advancement.

Workplace Requirements:
Hybrid position: This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. Currently, a 3/2 schedule is flexible based on the needs of the team. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: $55,000 - $60,800
*Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.
