Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two years of hotel experience in guest contact areas.
- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Orlando market is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Flexibility in handling different markets.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency with Delphi/Salesforce is preferred.
What will I be doing?
Sales and Customer Relationship Management
- Represent the hotel to develop market segments and new customer relationships.
- Maintain existing relationships with assigned accounts.
- Aim to maximize revenue in rooms, public space, food and beverage, and ancillary products and services.
- Handle sales requests for groups of 300 rooms on peak and under.
- Negotiate contracts and manage large and complex group accommodations.
Prospecting and Business Development
- Research, solicit, and generate new leads.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including tradeshows and customer events.
- Develop and execute business plans for designated markets.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of business opportunities.
Negotiations and Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts with end-user customers and intermediaries.
- Provide solutions that meet the financial goals of the hotel.
