Works cooperatively with the management team to schedule and complete medical appointments for individuals served promptly.
Completes all necessary medical follow-ups and required post-medical appointments promptly.
Works with medical providers and pharmacies to ensure all medications are ordered and filled as prescribed.
Completes weekly medication reviews accurately.
Review residents' medical files weekly.
Assists with emergencies, communicates and documents such incidents by Agency policies and procedures.
Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties.
Attends work regularly according to assigned work schedule and by Agency policy.
SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):
Works cooperatively and effectively with stakeholders while meeting the needs of individuals served and the programs.
Provides personal care to persons served during specified periods.
Available to assist Residential Managers with needed support.
Provides transportation to the individuals served when needed.
Works alongside the Residential Manager to ensure the Emergency Food and Supplies Kit, OSHA kit, and First Aid kit are sufficiently stocked.
Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development.
Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, individuals served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public.
Assumes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed.
EDUCATION: Associate of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Human Services. Bachelor's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Two years experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. NOTE: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted iinstead ofthe requirements specified above under Education and Experience.What's in it for you?
