Summer Camp Apple Creek Counselors (Apple Creek YMCA) (Biotech)

The Apple Creek YMCA is hiring lead-qualified and assistant-qualified camp counselors for this summer's Camp Apple Creek program. Spend your summer both indoors and out, exploring the neighboring nature preserve, playing games, creating art and teaching school age children. This seasonal opportunity is perfect for those who love working with kids, teachers seeking a summer job, college students looking for experience, and anyone who has a passion for children and tons of fun!

This is a full- or part-time position, with trainings starting in late May and children arriving in June through August 2025.

Day Camp Lead: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of all day camp procedures, health and welfare of campers, security, and communication with staff and parents. Responsible for providing leadership for the Day Camp Program in both large and small group activities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with an average of 40 hours per week

Day Camp Assistant: Assist and provide a variety of developmentally appropriate material and activities, which foster social skills and encourages children to think, problem solve, question and experiment. Implements a daily schedule based on developmentally appropriate activities for school aged children.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with an average of 38 hours per week
