Product Manager (Finance)
Equifax's USIS Core Risk Product team is looking for a Product Manager with experience in risk products, specifically within the Mid FI (Mid tier Banks and Credit Unions) segment.
This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector, enabling the development of innovative products that drive value for both customers and Equifax.
This Product Manager will be skilled at establishing customer needs, creating customer segments, building product roadmaps, and managing the performance of a product portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of Mid FI customer needs, identifying opportunities to enhance existing products and introduce new features
- Segment and map customer groups, aligning product offerings to specific customer needs
- Lead customer discovery efforts to assess industry trends, pain points, and opportunities for innovation
- Own the end to end product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap development to build, launch, and post launch optimization
- Drive product adoption and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with Equifax's broader strategy
- Identify and execute on product transitions and enhancements to improve customer value.
- Partner closely with technology, data science, and business teams to develop scalable, data driven solutions
- Define and measure key success metrics to track product performance and customer impact
What Experience You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related field
- 7 years of experience in SaaS product management, with a strong understanding of Risk or Underwriting products
- 7 years of Product Management experience
What Could Set You Apart
- Deep product management experience, including customer discovery, defining requirements, building, launching, iterating, and scaling products
- Strong experience in customer segmentation, roadmap planning, and revenue management
- Experience managing data assets and building products that drive actionable insights for customers
- Understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and their role in financial institutions
- Experience working within a financial institution or as a direct user of risk based products
- Proven track record of launching and scaling risk products for Mid FI customers
