Site Engineer (Engineering)
Essential Functions

Manage project tasks and coordinate with key project stakeholders in all areas of the operation Supply, Efficiency, IT, Quality, Safety, and site readiness.Collaborate with Business Development, Quality, Operations, IT, Finance, Contractors, and the account customer.Identify key KPI's to help drive efficiencies and safety.Analyze operational data, layout, material, and workforce utilization.Review/define process/system requirements.Develop and support material flow planning procedures. Partner with Operations to implement the processes.Lead implementation activities for new or changing processes and systems.Provide training, resources, and documentation.Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine processes, staff requirements, and production standards.Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize service reliability, and minimize cost.Primary on-site contact for all internal and external auditsConfer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, service capabilities, and project status.Manage all site invoicing and work with finance to maintain good standing with all external vendors and contractors.Develop test methods/procedures to support product validation effortsCreate and maintain APQP documentation including control plans, process flows, and PFMEA activitiesEvaluate causes of scrap and work toward the elimination of such defectsMonitor tooling and assembly process equipment, ensuring calibration standards and process checkpoints are complete and within operational tolerances.Audit quality systems insuring adherence to Quality Management System procedures. Responsible for maintenance of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certificationsTravel to customer or vendor sites for presentations, meetings, etc. to pursue new business opportunities and strategic partners.Participate in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives.

Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Safety vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
Travel
Travel between locations may be required.
Education and Experience
BS in Engineering or related technical field Supply Chain and or Business Management or equivalent in experience, quality, training and/or certifications.1+ years of work experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Quality and Supply Chain OperationsStrong computer skills; MS Office, Outlook, CAD, VisioStrong understanding of MTM'sKnowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent inventory software is a plusAPQP Core Tool Knowledge: Control Plans; PFMEA; Process Flow; PPAP; Gage Control & MSA is a plusBasic Knowledge of Statistical Process Control as well as Process Capability and ControlASQ CQE, QMS Internal Auditor and/or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus
