Master's degree level in Education, Special Education, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or other field appropriate to the program content. Grow Here .Human Services Practitioner (Working Title: Case Manager)These positions will be located within the SHWC Department of Psychiatry under the supervision of the SHWC Assistant Director of Case Management. This area is dedicated to providing mental health services to students, as well as medical case management when needed. Assessment, Therapy and Crisis Intervention are the main duties of this position. Additionally, close collaboration with psychiatric providers in department is essential. This position exists to assist USF students in preventing mental health issues from negatively impacting their academic success and overall well being. This is the first point of contact for the student within the department of psychiatry, whether scheduled or on an emergent basis. Psychiatric providers rely heavily on this position to convey an accurate clinical description of issues student is facing. A brief therapy model will serve to enhance care and provide balanced mental health services. Vital to the safety of not only the students, but the USF campus at large, this position is critical to the department of psychiatry at SHWC.
