Water Resources Intern (Finance)
Kleinfelder is seeking a Water Team Intern with 0 years of experience for our Boston, Ma office. Under the direction of experienced engineers, scientists and planners, the candidate will perform a variety of engineering support assignments for water resources projects.
We are seeking a motivated student interested in a paid cooperative education opportunity for the summer of 2025. This position will provide a challenging and rewarding work opportunity, offering exposure to a diverse range of engineering projects alongside a team focused on a learning culture. There is the potential for full-time employment in the future.
Assignments may include
Candidate should be enrolled and completed at least two years in an accredited civil or environmental engineering program working towards completing a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or water resources related engineering.
Candidate should have relevant coursework or experience, including hydraulics, hydrology, and basic engineering fundamentals, as well as knowledge of and experience with current design specifications and standards. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, self-motivated, flexible, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have availability to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
A successful candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
Additionally, the candidate must be capable of clear and concise verbal and written communication, have the ability to operate with moderate to minimal supervision and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor such as field investigations or assistance in construction oversight.
