Application Developer, Vice Precident (Finance)
TradeNeXus is seeking a Senior Developer to help build the next generation of web applications that will have a meaningful impact on our customers and our business. TradeNeXus (also known as GTSS and FX Connect Trade Services) is an award-winning post-trade solution developed primarily for asset managers and their counterparties that provides technology and workflows to support electronic matching, confirmation, and SWIFT messaging for foreign exchange (FX) and money-market transactions.
TradeNeXus is a part of the GlobalLink suite of market-leading e-trading platforms, technology, data, and workflow solutions from State Street Global Markets (SSGM).

What you will be responsible for:
As a Sr. Developer you will,
1. Design and enhance leading FX settlement, confirmation, and clearing suite of products
2. Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and other developer team members
3. Identify and implement best practices in coding and design, keeping up on the latest developments in web technologies
4. Innovate and transform a business idea into highly utilized features and services for customer
Education and Preferred Qualifications:
1. 10+ years of enterprise software development in Java.
2. Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and multi-threading concepts.
3. Familiarity with Kafka and distributed caching technologies like Hazelcast, Redis.
4. Experience with Websocket programming using Netty or Spring Reactor, Webflux or RxJava.
5. Hands-on experience with REST-based microservices and best patterns for implementing them.
6. Hands-on experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL.
7. Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA and hibernate.
8. Experience working in the financial industry specifically trade life cycle management.
9. Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy.
10. Team player with a thirst to learn, a sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $187,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
