PCBA & Product Test Principal Engineer (Finance)
Job Description: Oversee the testing and validating printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) used in electronic devices. Provide technical guidance, lead design reviews, ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices, troubleshoot complex technical issues, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of PCBAs. Work with the company's global technical leader network, define guidance and policy in various technical areas, contribute to industry knowledge sharing, and stay updated with testing methodologies and regulations advancements. Plan and execute projects to completion on time at required performance levels, including complete and accurate documentation. Understand, apply, and conduct DFT reviews as part of new product introduction (NPI) is required. Perform electronic circuit analysis at the system level (offer or product) and determine test strategy accordingly. 30% travel (20% international, 10% domestic) required to supplier sites and company factories for on-site review and qualification. Position eligible for remote work up to 3 days per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in electronics testing in a manufacturing or production environment, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Applying new product introduction (NPI) methodology and standards in product test design, development, and life cycle; Supervising manufacturing prototype activities and qualification; Developing and contributing to technical policy and standards; Providing technical guidance on PCBA test designs; Developing complex test systems for manufacturing; Developing product test and equipment specifications and test programs; and Developing equipment and process qualification plans.
