We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Hospitality Aides to join our dynamic team at Colonial Vista Post Acute. The primary role of the Hospitality Aide is to enhance the patient experience by providing essential support to residents and staff. This position entails a variety of responsibilities focused on fostering a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents during their stay. As part of our health care family, you will work closely with nursing staff and other health care professionals to ensure that the non-medical needs of our residents are met. The Hospitality Aide will assist with meal service, help maintain cleanliness in patient areas and respond to resident requests with empathy and care. Your role is crucial in maintaining the dignity and comfort of those in our care. Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals and snacks to residents while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide comfort items as needed.
• Assist residents with non-medical personal care tasks when appropriate.
• Support nursing staff with essential tasks and coordination of care.
• Help residents with mobility and transport within the facility as needed.
• Participate in resident activities and provide companionship to enhance resident experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with residents and families.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in a healthcare environment.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety protocols in resident care settings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
