As the Senior Director, Social and Content Marketing for Warcraft you will be responsible for growth and health of the Warcraft communities and this franchise's place within its community and culture. You will oversee its Social, Community, Editorial and Influencer efforts while also acting as a core leader within Blizzard's Marketing organization. A successful leader in this role is a creative visionary with the drive to develop best-in-class campaigns and strategies that shape culture, fuel fandom and define brands.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader, with deep experience across social campaigns and audience strategy. They have proven success building brands across diverse owned and operated ecosystems, and subsequently activating high-impact campaigns within those platforms. They are driven and passionate, with a keen sense of what makes an idea great and a willingness to seize opportunity at every turn. Importantly, they understand gaming, and recognize the magic that has kept Warcraft thriving as a community for decades.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $164,800.00 - $304,800.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
